Status: Open => Answered Robert Caulk proposed the following answer: The concise answer is exactly what [1] did. The install page shows the necessary third party libraries that need to be installed for Yade [2], but the method of installation will be different for RedHat. I believe RedHat uses Yum instead of apt, so you need to track down the comparable libraries in that package manager. I guess it is possible you won't find certain libraries, in which case you need to compile those libraries separately from source. I do not know if that will be the case.
