Hi Robert, it seems you are somehow in a special case since the following
works:
:~$ yade
Welcome to Yade 1.20.0
...
Yade [1]: O.engines=O.engines+[FlowEngine(label="flow")]
Yade [2]: flow.useSolver=3
Yade [3]: O.save("test.yade")
Yade [4]:
Do you really want to exit ([y]/n)?
:~$ yade
Yade [1]: O.load("test.yade")
Yade [2]: flow.useSolver
-> [2]: 3
