I totally forgot that I had a problem with the Deformation Engine and I commented it out (I assumed it is some sort of servomechanism like Triaxial Engine). I definitely didn't account for deformation. After a skim-reading the Haustein [1] paper, I think that you can easily account for that. Instead of the initial particle radii, use "extended radii". (If I understand correctly, the change in the shape is actually increasing the radius).
