Cloud-init version: cloud-init_18.3-3_all.deb from debian sid and 0.7.9-2 from
debian stretch. (NOTE: 0.7.7~bzr1156-1~bpo8+1 from debian jessie is unaffected)
Real issue I'm triaging: user-data script fails to run.
User-data script in question:
#!/bin/bash
echo "I was here" | tee -a /tmp/uds-logging
Digging deeper, the whole of modules-final gets skipped when this
happens.
