Public bug reported: One of the tools created in [1] was the implementation of a new OVN agent. This agent is configurable and can receive any new extension programmed. For example, it is possible to define "metadata" or "qos_hwol" as extensions for this agent.
Once implemented the "metadata" extension and tested since 2024.1 [1] in the "neutron-tempest-plugin-ovn" job, it is time to deprecate the OVN metadata agent in favor of the OVN agent. That will end with the duplicated code and the issues maintaining it.
