I give my binding +1 on 2.7.2-RC2 with following check: - All new commits (155) since 2.7.1 are included in commit log and CHANGES.txt which equally to JIRA marked as fixed in 2.7.2.
- Signatures and message digests all are looks good, build get successfully from the source tar ball with JDK 7. - Deployment tests passed on a single node, unsecured cluster: - Started HDFS/YARN daemons successfully, check daemon logs are in good status. - Ran several example jobs, like: PI, sleep, teragen/terasort/teravalidate, all are finished successfully. - Went through the WebUI for NN (50070), DN (50075), RM(8088), NM (8042) to make sure the views are working well. - Verify MR over distributed cache works fine with teragen job. - Verify NM restart with work preserving works fine with PI job progress recovered and finished after NM restarted.
