Daniel Templeton commented on YARN-3742:
----------------------------------------

{quote}When creating RMFatalEvent, start the message with capital letters{quote}

I did that on purpose because the {{RMFatalEvent}} will prepend the message
with "RMFatalEvent of type %s, caused by %s". There were some cases where the
message was logged in addition to being passed to the event constructor, and in
those cases I started with a capital.

{quote}Would "Critical thread, %s, exited unexpectedly" be a grammatically
better message?{quote}

Again, prepend "RMFatalEvent of type %s, caused by %s" => "RMFatalEvent of type
%s, caused by a critical thread, %s, that exited unexpectedly".

> YARN RM will shut down if ZKClient creation times out

> The RM goes down showing the following stacktrace if the ZK client connection
> fails to be created. We should not exit but transition to StandBy and stop
> doing things and let the other RM take over.
