Would like to just note here that the new UI has been backported to branch-2 as
part of
https://github.com/apache/hadoop/commit/769087288ad753ca58509ff3fe5efcc2d2b061aa
It is planned to be included in the 2.9 release.
branch YARN-3368_branch2 has all the commits.

The branch was merged with "git merge --no-ff" as decided for hadoop merges at
