Eric Payne commented on YARN-8625:
----------------------------------

[~Prabhu Joseph], In my environment, the
ApplicationHistoryManagerOnTimelineStore object is never instantiated.

o.a.h.y.s.webapp.dao.AppInfo is instantiated, but only when viewing the
http://RM:8088/cluster/apps page and not when viewing the
https://RM:8188/applicationhistory page nor when curling
https://RM:8188/ws/v1/applicationhistory/apps

What setting are you using for
{{yarn.timeline-service.generic-application-history.store-class}}? I tried both
{{FileSystemApplicationHistoryStore}} and {{MemoryApplicationHistoryStore}}.
Both had the same result.

Also, which version of the UI are you using? Maybe you could attach your
configs to this JIRA.

> Aggregate Resource Allocation shown on RM UI for finished job is very useful
> metric to understand how much resource a job has consumed. But this does not
> get stored in ATS.
