Updated patch:
* fix potential pendingContainersToRemove leak.
* remove unnecessary {{pendingCompletedContainers.clear();}} and add
clearPendingCompletedContainers() for testing purpose only.
* Add comments for modified tests.
* Switch order of {{assertEquals}}. Expected value should come first to prevent
confusions.
