If I understand correctly, what [~sunilg] suggested is,
- Uploaded a ver 2.7 patch to YARN-3362
- Address other necessary changes in this patch. (If no much changes required,
merging all changes to YARN-3362 is also fine to me).
I agree with this approach in general. Ideally we should commit patch which
addresses same issues with same JIRA number to different releases (regardless
of if we modified patch or not), otherwise it causes issues while doing
backport.
