One more tip: If you need modified insts-sys and using e.g. yupdate that needs to be applied in each installation run, then it can be more effective ( and I use it often ) to use 1 startshell=1 in kernel cmdline 2 modify insts-sys 3 simulate various scenarious by editing /etc/install.inf 4 execute `yast` 5 continue with 3 with different scenario The documentation is at https://github.com/openSUSE/linuxrc/blob/master/linuxrc_yast_interface.txt#L321 and the most interesting options are XVideo and TextMode for testing.
