Hi Knut, Apologies for not getting back sooner, didn't get the mail. Anyhow, that was exactly my assumption, but it didn't work as it simply didn't create the route at all and once I opened YaST again the - after creating the device specific route without a default one being present - the field was empty. Was a few days ago tho so should probably check this again with a clear head. Absolutely possible that I messed up something (in fact highly likely). Bit scared to mess up my setup as it finally works the way I need it to, but going to try this in a VM at least to see what happens and report back.
