Hi all,
Docker hub is removing the "Free Team" plan, they will only have paid team
subscriptions (the lowest is $25 for 5 users/month, = $300/year), see [1].
Because we now build the CI images in OBS we do not need it anymore.
So I completely removed the "yastdevel" and "libyui" organizations
including all images. They would delete them in a month anyway.
The only drawback is that those images were used in the SLE-12 and
SLE15-GA + SLE15-SP1 builds. But we still use Travis CI in those branches
which also become a paid service (uh, oh...) se we actually do not run
any CI there. (There seems to be an option to have "free credits"
for OSS projects, but you still need a paid account for that [2].)
In theory we could also switch those old branches to use GitHub Actions
and build the container images in OBS, just like we do for the latest branches.
But that is not trivial and we do maintenance fixes for SLE12 rarely
so I think it would not pay off.
And we still run the unit tests as a part of the RPM build process
which is also included in the package submission ("rake osc:sr") done either
manually or in Jenkins.
So those old branches still have protection against regressions.
