*In defense of our federation... Madisha playing dangerous games again * Willie Madisha has always enjoyed an overwhelming majority as when he was still president of COSATU up until the break down of trust between him and other office bearers of the federation, making it hard for them to work in unison for the interest of the oppressed and the marginalized. The breakdown in relations was primarily informed by his very own inability as a leader to defend the decisions of the federation and he was equally involved in some unscrupulous investigations of his fellow leaders secretively with no mandates or references.
His conduct immediately displayed his true character of uncomradely charlatanism propelled by his desires to undermine the decisions of the federation as perhaps mandated by his then and now current political masters. COSATU nearly went into a point of unpalatable division only because of Willie Madisha 's conduct. He may have been blindfolded by the fact that half of the congress delegates who have voted him plus the difference of 42 that returned him as president had totally different reasons for returning him as president of COSATU in 2006. Some of the workers had now learned of his divisive tactics and his consistent disregard to internal democratic procedures and conduct of an organization. He refused to be instructed by ordinary members of the federation and his union and rather decided to follow his wild personal desires also in relation to the Cosatu 2007 Central Committee positions towards the ANC's 52nd National Conference at Polokwane later in 2007. To some of us he is a clear epitome of a hardened heart and an arrogant self-serving demagogue. Acting out of anger and vengeance from the COSATU CEC and SADTU NEC decisions about his malicious divisive, ill disciplined behavior, Madisha allows himself to be seduced by Lekota & Shilowa to divide the federation again. The question remains as to how does Madisha believe that he will lead the worker that he had failed to take into confidence when he was still president. How and where is he intending to get the membership of his labour federation? Is he intending to put COSATU into another rapturously divisive mode again as he did in 2006 and beyond? Every member of COSATU deserves to be careful of the dangers that Madisha is bringing again.
