*23 April 2009* *YCLSA remembers President OR Kaizana Tambo!*
The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] remembers the father of the South African revolution and an internationalist par excellence, Cde President Oliver Reginald Kaizana Tambo, who died on the 24th April 1993. In memory of OR, the YCLSA salutes all the young people of South Africa for decisively catapulting ANC President Jacob Gedl’yihlekisa Manganyelwa Zuma to the Union Buildings. Comrade President OR recognised the importance and the contribution made by young people in the struggle for the liberation of the oppressed. In remembering this great leader who kept the ANC-SACP-COSATU Alliance as a glue under hostile and difficult conditions it is by making sure that the commitments made by the ANC in its 2009 elections manifesto are being realised for the benefits of the working class and the poor youth of this country. Let’s all young people, the chief volunteers and defenders of the revolution remember President OR in dance and songs as we celebrate the decisive victory of the ANC-Alliance.
