It is clear that millions of South African voters did indeed follow the path laid down by Chris Hani and other heroes of the national liberation struggle by voting for the ANC. We are deeply impressed and inspired by the mobilization and discipline exercised by the YCLSA in these elections to ensure the victory of the ANC in the face of such fierce opposition from the bourgeois media. The contribution of the YCLSA to the struggle against the right-wing opportunist break-away group COPE has clearly been substantial. It will help to inspire us in our electoral work in our forth-coming European elections in June and serve as a reminder of what can be accomplished by a disciplined revolutionary organization of young communists. We wish to confer our congratulations to our fraternal organization and, in the 50th year of the Cuban revolution, remember the words of Comandante Che Guevara: Hasta la Victoria Siempre!
