Cdes, Let me first welcome the new cabinet as anounced by president Zuma yesterday. He was firm on service delivery and the removal of those who will hurt the public through failure to provide such. He also aligned the cabinet to respond firmly to the needs of the masses of our people. I would primarily like to welcome Dr Blade to the newly found department of Higher Education and Training. We, the people of Mpumalanga and North West, rely on him to make it possible that the two provinces get universities that will be reponsive to the respective challenges faced by the two provinces. The trail is being opened, it is therefore up to all of us to work together in order to do more. The setup of the new cabinet brings hope to all of us that really it will be business unusual as Nxamalala have said. Although, one is swiming in a pool of confusion as to what will happen to the annual budget presented by former treasury. Is it going to change in order to accommodate the current set up? I really am looking forward to the developments and like all South Africans am hopeful that it will allow space for a speedy service delivery. I also wish that the assembly of ministers and deputy ministers will heed the call and dare not fail Msholozi and the majority of our people. The new cabinet proves beyond doubts that Msholozi and the alliance mean business. It is proof that the work of providing leadership has begun. It also confirms that Msholozi meant it when he said his is a calling to provide a good service to the majority of our people especially the poor and the working class. I pause!!
