It would seem as usual Kanyiso seeks to send everyone on a wild goose chase and better still separate the vanguard of the expression of working class from its historical role and mission. Inevitable if the question is posed this way one shall get half truths on the overall outlook of the proletarian struggle. The Fundamental Question should be; What should be the relationship of the Party to "Progressive Trade Unions" and therefore its role (The Party) to the National Liberation Movements (including the leadership question of the Alliance)? The very existence of TU's is something the Party can express more than any National Liberation Movement and to a greater extent the very existence of most National Liberation Movements in particular Africa and most of the third world. Lenin then elaborated at great lengths on this subject and so too did the Party then before the Black Thesis Republic. So, please lets not allow a situation where classics are distorted deliberately in an attempt to dip-stick our understanding and scholarship on Marxism-Leninism. But most worryingly is a situation whereby there is a deliberate attempt by those in the know to misguide interpretation of Marxism to a static interpretation of the evolving scientific change and outlook. As far as history has so far recorded in the case of South African in particular the relations between the alliance was fundamental to the eventual success of the struggle. It was this fluent friendship and reliance that meant there was no difference between the alliance members in the projection of power against the state. In the current situation it is abundantly clear that this alliance is need more than ever as the ridiculous petty bourgeoisie has hijack and usurped the momentum, resources and leadership of the national democratic stage for the limited ends of personal gain. If there is no longer a need to have a strong and coercive bond between al the pillars of a struggle that is incomplete, please tell us comrade Jara, what your objection is to a alliance of revolutionary friends. If you can move beyond that statement you wrote and give a bit more clarity to your statement then I for one would be able to understand you reluctance.
