Cdes, let me extend special thanks comrades who are doing a huge contribution
in this platform by posting bursary application details and that of job
opportunities.
I always maintain that those of us who believe that Socialism is the future
have to be seen contributing in society rather than analysing situations and
then doing nothing about it. One way with which we can contribute is through
sharing out information to those who are hindered by accessibility challenges,
mostly young people.
Nelson Mandela has, over the years been stressing the fact that education is
the engine of human development. It is very discouraging to observe that a
number of brilliant matriculants are wasted back in our township due to lack of
information; same applies with drop-outs, we have a high number of enrolled
students dropping out from academic institutions due to being failed by our
system when it comes to financial assistance.
I have an idea that Progressive Youth Alliance organisations can come to the
rescue a number of capable students who're failing to meet institutions'
financial demands by either fundraising for them or setting up a fund that will
be targeted on the corporate personalities and the so-called "Black Diamonds".
By this we will make sure that we're sowing the culture of social
entrepreneurship because, let's face it comrades, it is a reality that
capitalism is striving and that we can't do away with over the night; so how
do we exploit the opportunity. This is just a suggestion!
