*YCLSA 87TH ANNIVERSARY CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY: MANAMELA! NZIMANDE! MALEMA! RUNE! MOKAKE!* The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] will on Monday 25thMay 2009 be celebrating its 87 th Anniversary under the strategic theme “ *Our fights; Our Victories; Realising our struggles for Decent Work and Free Education for All”* as a way of celebrating the electoral victory of the ANC Alliance; the ascending of ANC President Jacob Zuma to the highest office in the land and the victory of the people of Khutsong for their resolute and militancy to be reincorporated back into the province of Gauteng. The YCLSA will also use this Anniversary to remember and honour the icons of our Communist Youth movement who were instrumental in the formation of the organisation in the early 1920’s and its re-launch in 2003. Amongst these include Sara Sable, Thomas Mbeki, Ruth First, Joe Slovo, Esther Bersel, Ahmed Kathrada, Duma Nokwe, Alex la Guma and many others who went on to change the course of history and youth activism for the better. In marking this glorious period the YCLSA will be hosting a *CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY* this morning, 25 May 2009. The *CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY* will be addressed by YCLSA National Secretary *BUTI MANAMELA, *SACP General Secretary *BLADE NZIMANDE*, ANC YL President *JULIUS MALEMA*, SUCA Secretary General *SIPHO MOKAKE*, and SASCO President *MAWETHU RUNE*.
