MONGEZI - CAUTION! CAUTION!! CAUTION!!! To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Date: Monday, September 14, 2009, 11:13 PM Dear Africans I AM SO SORRY THAT I CAME TO A WRONG CONCLUSION, because those on the TABLE were part of the discussions led by DR. ANNAMORE MATAMBANADZO of Zimbabwe accusing and correctly that the REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT UNDER ANC allowed XENOPHOBIA against Ziumabweans who fed us and gave us, RIGHTLY SO, arms to bring the BOERS to a NEGOTIIATING TABLE- she correctly also critised Mr. Robert MUgabe's government policies and action! I apologise foir thinking YOU GUISE WERE ABOUT AFRICAN CONTINENTAL UNITY! I am sorry to hear from you that you were just not serious about CRITICISING SOUTH AFRICANS OF XENOPHOBIA and ANTI_AFRICAS from the NORTHG|! I am sorry that you have no PUBLIC GUTS TO ATTACK OTHER AFRICANS LEADERS IN PUBLIC IF THEY ARE NOT ATTACKED FIRST BY WHITES AND AMERICAN GOVERNMENT! I apologise for growing up as a PAN-AFRICANIST behind closed doors as well as inPUBLIC, I apologise foir beign an exponent of BLACK CONSCOUSNESS aganist XHOSA tribalist\m since 1968! I apologise to working with blacks, whites, Arabs, Asians, Native Americans, gays and lesbians and achieving BLACK POLITICAL POWER in AZANIA in 1994 and in America in 2008! I apologise for working with the All African Peoples Revolituionary Party of Kwame Ture and Dennis Brutus and African Americans to establish the African American United Fron in 1990 in Pittsburgh, PA! I apoloigise for establishing the Azania Heritage International in 1991 because reactionary forces in theBlack and White communities destroyed the AAUF because " I am a foreigner"! I was told by Rick Adams of the Raqinbow Coaltion in 1990 that many elderrs in the Black Community who were Democratic and Republican Party members first are not so keen for African Continental and African American Unity! If you read John Stockwell's book " In Search of Enemies" about who started the Angola WAR and if you read Presidenbt Jimmy Carter's National SEcurity Memo 48 of 1978 by Ziegnew Brizinsky you will understand why I apologize! I apologize that those who fund Black ORGANIZATIONS ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO CAUSE STARVATION AND SUPPORT DICTATORS LIKE MUGABE! In 1986 I was the ONLY SENIOR MEMBER of the National Liberation Movement of South Africa to PUBLICLY CRITICISE ZANU-PF IMF/WORLD BANK POLICIES while the petty bopurgeois nationalist of Zimbabwe were looking at Robert Mugabe as GOD ON EARHT! The same people who critisize Mugabe today had COMFORTABLE JOBS andHOMES in HATRAE in 1986 till 1996! I apologiuze Dear Mr. Mongezi, This email is an urgent response to your email of September 14, 2009 (as below) which you said you have sent to the Republic of South Africa Embassy in DC and you are planning to make it a press release. With careful review and critical analysis of your email, plus so many phone calls received today from African Community Leaders in Pittsburgh, I think you have misrepresented everyone of us and wrongly interpreted the discussion we all had yesterday. As much as we are open to embrace unity of all Africans and work together, we need to ensure due process, be well organized, have better approach, respect people’s opinions/personality and ensure accurate information. Point of Corrections and need for caution: 1. There is no such organization as "African Union Association in America", what we have is Union of African Communities in Pittsburgh & Allegheny County (www.pittsburghafricans.org) of which we all belong and working hard to unite and empower our people. This confusion does not portray the African community well. Presenting a non-existing organization name does not speak well. 2. In your email, you said we had a "Pittsburgh African Continental Declaration on September 13, 2005 at 7pm" - This is not true. Please note that there was no declaration and not even a forum for one yesterday. Discussion made by people present were informal discussion and chat at the memorial service of a late friend. We did say in the future we may have a debate series/think tanks to discuss issues about Africa. 3. You mentioned that we have been nominated as Interim Committee to assert a Declaration as African Continentals and organize implementation some things. - This is not true. No such committee was formed - the Union of African Communities is constituted by leaders of over 26 African Countries that represents the community. 4. Where and how did you come up with all this offices/positions without our consents or notice? You don't just throw peoples names out there without informed consent. Chairperson Dr. Annamore Matambanadzo (Zimbabwe), Deputy-Chair, Dr Macrina Lelei (Kenye), President John Kwateng (Ghana), Deputy President, Jean Kengna (Cameron), Secretary-General Mongez S. Nkomo (South Africa), Deputy Secretary General Rufus Idris (Nigeria), Treasurer -General Elie Kihonia (D.R.Congo), Deputy Treasurer-General Alain Tamo (Cameroon). 5. We cannot recall saying we are sending congratulations to Ambassador Welile Nhlapho, for his recent appointment by his Excellency President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Jacob Zuma. Finally, even if this was done in good fate, too many typos/errors in the email and the way it was presented without first sharing with the so call interim committee does not portray us and our community well. Thank you and God bless.
