Cdes,

I have noticed with concern the manner in which cdes are handling issues
and the manner in which we are diverting our focus from real issues to
petty ones. i have evenoted that what was once said by some cdes within
our region start to materialise, that there are cdes who would not waste
time to push the agenda of recalling the current leadership of the ANCYL
given the what has ufolded at Mangaung.

Cdes, there is nothing wrong with robust debatess, the probem arises when
the debates are reduced into personal issues and this forum cannot be used
as a machinery to gather support for activities that are for persnal
gains. We do agree that the current tension between the leadership of the
YL and YCL is unhealthy and uncalled for. What we need to focus on is the
way forward in resoving the issue at hand rather than raising personal
attacks. When we raise the debates we need to have a clear focus on the
issues but not at the person who has raised the issue.

Cde Mzwandile, you have erred my leader, Our opposition were questioning
the same issue and today I am surprised that one of us is aking the same.
I think we should shy away from the issue of education rather the
political capacity of the cde. A good example, Zimbabwe is led by one of
the most educated leaders in the continent but look at how it is today.
Education cannot be used as a barometer to gauge the leadreship capacity.
Our president, JZ himself, does not hold a matric certicate but is a good
leader with capacity.

Only the brance=hes of the ANCYL can decide on the future of its president
and the entire leadership but not individuals.

Let;s talk.

Phereke.
