Cde Lucky You are very much correct, there is a desperate effort on part of the comrade to make a blatant expression of lies. We heard Malema confirming that between 200 and 300 delegates left conference amidst such dissatisfaction and that included the out gone leadership. The conference however went on as the threshold was met. Comrades must learn not to distort facts and try painfully to justify their shameful behaviors or acts which they are an accomplice.
What happened in Limpopo is an indictment on the the current leadership of the YL, its failure to unite the movement is evident and if not correctly managed we are doomed to have another Mangaung come 2011. The truth is that it would be an embarrassment for Malema to be re-elected on circumstances similar to those of Mangaung; should that happen then a he should conduct a serious introspection on his leadership style. Chairman Mao in his address to the youth back in 1937 August 1 during the commemoration of the may 4 movement; warned of leaders who bear no respect to peoples three principles, he said in so far as they will claim to be socialist by mouth they are actually found to be despising and opposing it in their hearts; they are actually fascist of typical kind! in so far as they will claim to be democrats; they are actually at the fore front of a discourse that seek to repress common people and in so far as they claim to advance social welfare of the people, they are actually sucking the blood of the poor in pursuit of own entrenchment. Mao thus conclude that such people are non revolutionary and such is displayed in them being not united with the workers and the peasantry, they are countercurrent! I must mention that I am disgusted at the level of degeneration that characterize the YL today. I dare say the intrigues of the leadership of the YL will soon be exposed!
