Having to note that this gel gives 39% prevention during sexual intercourse, NOT 100% PREVENTION. Frankly, I have reservations when it comes to youth decision making in terms of safe sex, condom use to be in particular. My experience tells me that those who use condom do not use it consistently. How much more when one can afford to buy a gel? We have to explain until today that circumcision is not a 100% prevention but only minimises chances for contraction or getting infected. My strong suggestion to young people or every one sexually active is TO CONTINUE USING CONDOM CONSISTENTLY. Let the gel be the last line of defence in situations beyond one's control.
