But equally cadres we should ensure that we protect ourselves from external opportunism. There are alot of worrying tendencies within our MDM in its entirety and self-crtisism and introspection is a dire necessity in the current conjuncture. The Alliance, the PYA seriously need to use the space provided by them to thoroughly engage and assess the current political status quo. Media platforms have become the norm these days and that might come back to haunt us... We should all take responsibilty for our shortfalls and be bold enough to admitt to some of the hasty decisions taken without considering the long-term ramifications. It becomes unbearably disturbing to see how the DA continues to take wards which belonged to the ANC and the infiltration taking places in other provinces apart from the Western Cape...Lets all be weary. We should never behave like enemies or fall into the narrow pit of "divide conquer and rule"....Its a mammoth task to try and contain some of the contradictions we currently have, however lets not allow enemies of the revolution to use them against us.
