SACP NORTH WEST PROVINCE ON ITS MARCH AGSINST CORRUPTION
Friday, 22 October 2010

The South African Communist Party in the North West
province wishes to send its humble and yet revolutionary
apology to the anti corruption public in general and its
membership in the North West province in particular,
regarding its decision to postpone the anti corruption
march planned to take place on Saturday, 23 October 2010.

The decision to postpone the march is centrally informed by
the gigantic and important events planned by our Alliance
partners the African National Congress (ANC) and the
Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU).

As part of our strategic resolutions to build both the ANC
and COSATU, and considering most importantly the fact that
majority of SACP members are members of the ANC and COSATU
it was critical that we re-consider our plans regarding our
activities over the weekend of the 23th October.

It must however be noted that as the SACP in the North
West province we are not suspending any part of the
contents of the march including our demands.

The march will take place in due course and the details
will as always be communicated properly.
