Cdes, The media ran with the story that Julius Malema has attacked Jacob Zuma during YL's regional congress in Limpopo. Julius is said to have complained about the decisions that were taken by South African government on Libya. It is known that many South Africans were quite angry with how government handled the matter. I am not so much worried about the media reports, but I am worried that it seems that as ANC and SACP members we are not allowed to criticise government. It is suprising that media picked up what Julius said but fail to pick up SASCO's complains about Higher Education and Training Department. Does this means that some are allowed to criticise government and while the rest of us are forced to keep quite when government make mistakes.
If Julius did indead criticise government on its stance on Libya, then he had every right to do it. If he believes that it was wrong to please the West at the expense of other Africans then I see nothing wrong with him criticising government. Unless if others want to turn all of us into a bunch of yes-men and women. The same why Julius tolerated criticing directed at him over nationalisation, I believe it is time others do the same when he criticise their positions on matters that affect South Africa.
