There are various reasons why people lose their I.D's. Imagine these fires which are going to ravage shacks in winter? Those people will now have to pay for a new I.D's. .these are realities in SA. . Am just saying that quality services to our people should not be a privilege. If this is the route government is taking, then we no different from the private sector-mark my words other departments will follow suit and the cost of living in SA will be unbearable. We have the NHI which will soon be implemented, are we tacitly giving government the right to simply recover costs from citizens? What happens when costs of maintaining hospitals spontaneously increase? Comrades we must be weary of such justifications. . Look at the ramifications of the world cup infrastructure?
