I’m not convinced that what is in this letter are views of a branch
rather are personal views of Lazola and his personal issues he has
with the leadership of the ANCYL. What is very interesting is that the
very same Lazola is running SASCO as his spaza shop and we have more
than enough evidence to prove that, as much as Im not going to waste
time quoting events, hence some of us we are victims of his
leadership. As much as the leadership of the YL has it short comings
as everyone else, however they are doing a better job than what he is
doing in SASCO; we can’t wait for the next congress of SACO to have
new leadership. Maybe this time around we will be led by real students
not people who will register one or two modules in UNISA so that they
can contest leadership, for more than a decade doing undergraduate
level. They are doing all this so that they will indirectly control
the SACO led SRC’s and their resources (SRC cars, flit tickets, hotels
etc) which makes them the very same elite among ordinary students. If
indeed what he claimed had happened to his branch is true, he is
getting a taste of his medicine. Unfortunately his wishes will never
come true; President Julius Malema will remain a President of the YL.
