*YCLSA condemn the bunking of schools by SADTU teachers*** 23 June 2011
The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] condemn the behaviour of about 50 SADTU teachers, who bunked school on Tuesday so to attend a court appearance of Mr Moss Senye. As YCL we are aware that action was taken against some of these teachers in the last court appearance and that these teachers were not acting on the mandate of SADTU, we welcome the bold stance taken by SADTU to publicly distance itself from this unruly mob and call upon the minister of basic education to take drastic action against them. As YCLSA we would like to see all teachers responding positive to the clarion call from President Zuma, that teachers must be on school in time and teaching, we can not tolerate anarchy and hooliganism to engulf our school.
