Julius Malema defended

Xola Moni says whenever a black child accumulates wealth there's a gnashing
of teeth

*In defence of our economic freedom fighters*

Immediately after the conclusion of the successful ANCYL's congress in
Midrand in June this year , white people who don't share a progressive
vision of this new South Africa (hiding under the banner of Transvaal
Agricultural Union and Afriforum) wanted to have an audience with the
Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Gugile Nkwinti to seek
assurances that the resolutions of the ANCYL's congress of " expropriation
of land with compensation" were quite innocuous on the side of government
and that their land won't be tampered with.

As it is the wont of our government to listen to the concerns of its
citizens without race discrimination they were given an audience with the
Honourable Minister who then assured them that "he spoke to Malema about the
resolutions of ANCYL regarding the ‘expropriation of land without
compensation' and that they need not to fear anything since resolutions were
of the ANCYL and not of the government.

As young black people of this land we are constantly sent from pillar to
post when we want to raise our societal issues direct to our ministers and
we'll be told "you can't see the minister" rather talk to her/his PA who'll
talk to the minister and then revert you for feedback". However, because our
country is still playing a sweet heart role in terms of nursing race
relations one would assume that white people are being given much audience
because we don't want to be perceived by other countries as neglecting
them. So strange but true nhe!

Hardly a month after the ANCYL congress, a clique or must I say a sectarian
group of racist white people who continue to pinch themselves every time
they wake up to the rule of a black government, sought every possible manner
to discredit our President of ANCYL Comrade Julius Malema by peddling a wad
of canards about his lifestyle.

Just recently our president was a laughing stock of the nation about his
academic results and now it's about his lifestyle, wealth and nothing is
being said about him being given kudos for enrolling at Unisa to further his
studies.

This cabal is drawing strength from other people who suffer from a "Ja Baas
mentality" and they think they can convince our masses that our leaders are
"endo parasites". It's not surprising that this sectarian clique has
decided to utilize media to discredit our black leaders in particular
through peddling such canards.

In this country every time a black child climbs a ladder of success, it is
then concluded that something sordid is happening around his/her life. What
happens then is the trial through the media and all our lives would be bared
in public for all people to see that black people are corrupt and they can't
be trusted. This is the daily life that we constantly endure as young black
people in this country. Allow me dearest reader to liken our media as a
"semi-permeable membrane that allows certain molecules to pass through".

I'm saying this because of the inconsistency of reporting by the media with
particular reference to the so called exposé by *City Press* of Comrade
Malema. The issue of a trust in his name has been of late an "albatross on
his neck" not to mention that he was once a shareholder in a close
corporation. The media has thus found him to be guilty of owning a family
trust. I guess it's so strange to be "persona non grata"in your country of
birth.

I'm left asking myself a question about why the media is not doing any
lifestyle audits through the media to young white people who continue to
amass wealth through family trusts while having a mere Standard 5
certificate.

Most of them are beneficiaries of the trust of their forefathers and they
own vast land that they stole from black people and when we raise such
issues we are being cautioned not to play a blame game on apartheid. It's
also a known fact that many people of this sect have offshore investments
yet they never worked anywhere but when a black child accumulates wealth
there's a gnashing of teeth.

Allow me to submit to you all that as the youth of this country we'll leave
no stones unturned in defending our President Comrade Malema as he has been
mandated by us to champion "economic freedom in our lifetime". We can't
afford to be spectators in a game that we should be playing. This we'll do
with all people and races who share a progressive vision of this rainbow
country.

As for those who are stumbling blocks in our path to economic freedom they
should make use of their dual citizenship and go to Australia where they'll
find their bread buttered on both sides. Lastly but not least as the youth
this country we would like to thank all media houses for enhancing the
profile of our leader Comrade Malema through the so called " exposure of
dodgy dealings", thanks for free marketing.

Indeed the struggle continues, Aluta ! Continua!
