Cdes, I believe that ANC should now guide ANCYL on issues that have impact on the mother body. I am worried of the kind of leaders that ANCYL would produce. Some of the problems that we see within our organisations comes from the failure of both SACP and ANC to oversee their leagues processes.
I believe comrade Gugu is aware that YCL has problems that are similar to those of ANCYL, the only difference is that YCL is not fighting its mother body, but as fights during congresses for positions, both Leagues are the same. And the behaviour of YL seem to have moved to mother body. The internal fights within ANC for positions resemble those of YL. It would take someone who does not buy face to correct what is happening in the ANC, as long as you have leaders who depend of factions for their survival, then you'd continue to have this problems.
