Point of correction: the government did not refuse to issue the Visa. The was a delay with issuing it thus the Dalai Lama decided to CANCEL his trip to the Archbishops birthday party.
The Dalai Lama is no longer coming because he cancelled his trip and not because he was refused a visa. The utterances by the Archbishop last night are very unfortunate. Pity he is an arrogant old man and we won't withdraw them and apologise.
