Media Release 27th October 2011 Police Killing Campaign taken to Communities around Gauteng POPCRU in partnership with the South African Police Services, Community Policing Forums, Organized Business, Faith-Based Formations and other progressive forces will take the campaign to local communities around Gauteng. 2007 Polokwane Conference resolved, amongst others galvanizing the society to elevate issues of safety and security as issues warranting societal involvement and responsibility. And we are contending that the Police Killing Campaign will enhance such imperatives, including the attainment of the government priority on fighting Crime and Corruption.
