POPCRU on Russell Tribunal on Palestine [RToP]
POPCRU has welcomed genuine developments in promoting peace and social justice
by the United Nations through the granting nationhood of Palestine and we
further contend that apartheid-like atrocities meted by Israel to the
Palestinians must be deplored.
And POPCRU will become part of the proceeding at this year Russell Tribunal
sessions as they unfold at District Six Museum, Cape Town from the 05th to the
07th of November 201, to send a vivid message that Palestinians like any other
nation must be allowed space, to exercise their sovereignty as a member of the
United Nations and also UNESCO.
Attainment of peace and social justice is a universal prerequisite for a world
order in which prosperity of nations is moulded.
We contend that the RToP will re-enforce the localized efforts championed by
the coalition for a Free Palestine.
And POPCRU supports all these initiatives geared to ensure respect for
international law and the rights of the Palestinian people.
Forward with the struggle for a Free Palestine!
Forward with International Solidarity!
Forward with the unity of the Working Class!
