In Mangaung the would be very sober delegates, and who would have apply
themselves with all issues of the ANC,nothing else, who r not there to pay
revenge or Angry and undiscipline and rudely interrupts meetings of officials
and who knows their place in the ANC,regardless their young or old.And who have
a huge support of their branches for starters, and their streets committees and
their sections...And also who understand that the ANC Leads,ANC Lives. And
mostly who comes from either rich society or poor communities,And who will be
answering this question...What kind or type of the ANC we seek to have post the
ANC Centenary. And also which type or kind of ANC leadership is necessary to
lead...the ANC is not in a business of changing people like underwear...we as
branches we r not running a forever changing business, the is a programme to
ensure that it changes our people and ultimately change ourselves.Amandla

Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Mangaung will radicalise ANC - Malema

Johannesburg - ANC Youth League president Julius Malema warned that the ANC's
national conference in Mangaung next year will radicalise the governing party.

"There is a groundswell of voices calling for change in the ANC with regards
to the economy," Malema wrote in an article published in the Sunday World.

The article was published unedited and in full.

"Nationalisation of mines and expropriation of land without compensation will
be policy outcomes," said Malema.

The party's new leadership would show signs of generational mix.

He said the African National Congress had thrived in difficult conditions for
close to a century because it tolerated divergent views and perspectives, which
were tested and adopted once there was consensus.

It seemed there was a temptation to erode this tradition, replacing it with
intolerance and impatience, with older people across the political spectrum
fearing change, said Malema.

"The South African racist society has somewhat influenced the older comrades
to believe that what is today will be forever concerning the control and
ownership of the economy," he said.

"Any voice that contradicts the status quo is vulgarised, banished, and
treated with disdain because the interests of the ruling class are threatened."

"Eager for expropriation proves determination for rightful ownership,
especially where compensation is unlisted"
