December 14, 2011 *YCLSA LIMPOPO PRESS STATEMENT ON THE EVE OF THE 07TH ANC PROVINCIAL CONGRESS* * * The Young Communist League of South Africa (uFasimba) appeals to all members of the ANC led Alliance to stop responding emotionally against the National Government’s decision of placing Limpopo Provincial Administration under *Section 100 (1) (b)* Constitutional intervention, which essentially empowers the National Government to immediately assumes all provincial executive powers on account of the Provincial Administration’s failure to fulfill its executive obligations , powers in terms of the Constitution , subsidiary enabling(empowering)legislations, and Policy Prescripts. The YCLSA further take note of the offending, political, administrative, unnecessary insinuations and derogatory remarks in the *“City Press” dated the 11th November 2011*, made by David Masondo, as he asserted and wildly alleged that the said Cabinet intervention was undertaken by our revered Cabinet as a *“fishing expedition to get Julius and Cassel*, moreover that the National Government did not consult the Provincial Administration before the intervention was taken”. Truth be told, the *Constitution of the RSA, 1996*, in the cited Section, does not enjoin the National Government any legislative or statutory obligation as a precondition to action the *Section 100(1) (b) intervention*, let alone seek prior approval, consent towards any affected Provincial Administration, as it is unnecessarily propagated and advocated by the politically orbituated, outgoing ANC Spokesperson and M.E.C of Limpopo Provincial Treasury, David Masondo. The said allegations are devoid of any revolutionary and administrative truth hence, they are purported to sow an unnecessary scandalous image and reputation of our National Government. We urge our members and the masses in particular, not to give the said allegations any humane credence, for they are devoid of any truth. The YCLSA is politically disturbed by such yawning allegations, and insults directed against our revered Cabinet, by the said David Masondo. Such can only be asserted and politically opined by someone who suffers from *political idiocracy or idiocrazy*. His conduct is not only treacherous, but a living testimony to have been regrettable for having left an ugly political footprint in the file and ranks of the YCLSA. It is regrettable that when the history of the YCLSA is written, his name will be emboldened as the *living political Judas Iscariot*, who does not even habour any scant regard to the basic values and principles that governs public administration, provided for under *Section 195(1) of the Constitution.* * * It is a matter of *irrebuttable* *presumption of political fact* that the ANC has, in its” *2010 Election* *Manifesto”*, committed itself to fighting corruption, irrespective of who is involved. As an M.E.C, a politician of acclaimed, professed integrity, professing to a dedication to the spirit and letter of co-operative governance, the YCLSA invite David Masondo, in keeping with the tenor of his political insinuations in the said print media, on the referred date, to adduce real evidence to the contrary of such allegious “fishing expedition” committed by the National Government against the Limpopo Provincial Administration. The time to politically recall and dislodge the current crop of political tenderpreneurs, who continue to behave as if they have a *conferred Divine right* to hold forever on the political offices, by displaying their austententious lives is now, than ever before.
