*Cuba to Celebrate 54th Anniversary of Revolution* * * *Prensa Latina, Havana, 24 December 2011*Cuba will celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution with a broad program including all artistic expressions, organizers said on Friday.
In all 15 Cuban provinces and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth), there will be concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, book presentations and film screenings as of December 30.
Music lovers will be able to attend concerts by orchestras, bands, choirs, chamber music groups, bolero singers and troubadours.
Popular music groups will also join the activities in different institutions and communities throughout the country.
Renowned orchestras such as Paulo FG, Original de Manzanillo and others will play at Havana's Anti-Imperialist Tribune on January 1st.
According to organizers, the communities will present their works in theaters and alternative spaces.
Movie theaters will exhibit 18 films, including "Larga Distancia" (Long Distance) by Esteban Insausti, and "Morazán" by Sebastian Miló.
