What is different here on the run up towards Polokwane. Remember Cosatu central Committee decision on the top 6 of the ANC, I wonder where was these analysis you providing here.
It was the ANC Branches, Leagues and its Alliance partners which has called for the replacement of Cde. Thabo and then there were no emails of this nature. Remember when NUMSA former GS Cde. Nondwangu was on the Thabo's list for the NEC position some of you I'm certain were calling for disciplinary action against him what for I'm sure such emails you wrote can respond to that. When Madisha differs in the preffered list of COSATU he was which hunt and subsequent to that was fired was that not extreme and what have you said comrades. Why it was not on extreme when NUMSA in 2007 when NUMSA influenced COSATU on the issue of JZ as a president but today when NUMSA is having a different view you are calling for a ANC independence which you should have called for even in 2007. What informed such resolution??? Obviously its COSATU General Bass, Karl Marx warned us about this tendencies and treachery leadership expose itself against their narrow ambitions. I doubt such resolution was informed by shopfloor challenges or anger captured by SABC during his reiterating towards what President message of support to NUMSA, its shocking and to learn the resolution and clearly one cannot differentiate NUMSA and ANCYL. The ANC respects the independence of its alliance partners and therefore does not interfere in the internal democratic processes that elect their leadership. The resolution by NUMSA is not in line with respect of independence enjoyed by individual member organisations of the Tripartite Alliance. The determination of the leadership of the ANC is the sole responsibility of the ANC branches and the Leagues of the ANC that will be nominating for the National Elective Conference in December 2012. The position adopted by NUMSA is tantamount to interference with the internal democratic processes of the ANC. We believe that there are adequate alliance structures that NUMSA could have used to communicate whatever dissatisfaction they may have had. We want to reiterate our commitment to open communication on issues affecting our organisations and on issues of public policy. We believe that the public has a role in adding value to our discussions. In our last national elections we made a bold statement that enjoins us with the broader public to act in concert to accelerate service delivery and entrench democracy. This therefore calls for continuous engagement and consultation with our people.
