*ANC Statement, 20 June 2012**Meeting Between National Officials and the Provincial Officials of the North West*
The National Officials of the African National Congress met with the Provincial Officials of the North West province as scheduled yesterday.The meeting followed an unconstitutional removal of some of the ANC PEC members including the Chairperson, Treasurer and Deputy Provincial Secretary.Yesterday's meeting reaffirmed the PEC as elected last year.
The meeting received a myriad of complaints from both sides of the Provincial Officials which were noted.The national Officials have decided to engaged NEC members who are deployed in the North West Province under the Convener Comrade Thaba Mufamadi.A meeting between the National Officials of the ANC and NEC Deployees in the North West is scheduled for next week Monday 25 June 2012. This meeting will be convened to craft a political intervention in the North West.
