*ANC **Women's League Media Release, 5 July 2012* *ANCWL Will Send Delegation to PWMSA Conference*The ANCWL is excited to send a delegation of women to the 2nd National conference of the PWMSA in Mthata, in the Eastern Cape. The conference will be held from the 5th to the 8th of July 2012. The delegation will include ANCWL President, Angie Motshekga, her deputy cde Nosipho Ntwanamba as well as ANCWL Treasurer General Hlengiwe Mkhize.
The PWMSA is not a political organisation but rather a women's organisation made up of women from different sectors, some progressive political organisations, the trade union movement, civic organisations, religious bodies, business, professional organisations, NGOs, CBOs, different spheres of government, the young, women living with disabilities, the old and the women veterans of the struggle - coming from all the provinces of South Africa.
They will meet for the second time at a National conference, and plot the way forward for the Progressive Women's Movement of South Africa.
The media are invited to attend the open sessions, which will include an opening address by the PWMSA convenor Cde Baleka Mbete, as well as an address by the President of the republic cde Jacob Zuma.
