It pains to see MK Veterans attacked by Ekurhuleni Metro Police and SAPS member this evening. Some of these comrades are very old and I am definitely sure that some cannot even afford money to pay for a taxi to town.
Some members of these comrades hate politics because of the life that is lived by these comrades. Our military veterans are not taken serious. What exactly is their sin? Some of the neighbours are laughing at them because their standard of living does not show that they are part of the people that contributed in shaping this country. Because of all this some of our veterans are manipulated in leadership squabbles around the country. Some of the comrades who led serious guerilla operations against apartheid are dying like hobos and defeated soldiers.
