News Release: For Immediate Attention Wednesday, 11 September 2013 FAWU National Executive Council Meeting (NEC) 12-14 September 2013 The Food and Allied Workers' Union will hold their National Executive Council Meeting (NEC), the union's second highest decision making body from Thursday 12 September at 10h00 to Saturday 14 September 2013 at the Parktonian Hotel at 41 De Korte Street, Braamfontein. The meeting's discussions will include the following: - Organizational Renewal - Organizing of Farm, Forestry, fishing and merchandising workers - Collective Bargaining and Strike Actions - COSATU's Unity and Campaign for the Return of Vavi - FAWU's Campaign for the ANC Victory There will be a press conference on Sunday (15th September 2013) at the Parktonian Hotel starting at 12h30.
