Cde Jeje, This is a quote from Nikolai Ostrovsky, a member of the Red Army and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He was also a social writer.
The quote is from him and I'll put it at the end. The book 'How the Steel was Tampered' is about Pavel Korchagin, a Bolshevik who was wounded in a war during the Soviet civil war. This was written in a very huge wall of one of the MK bases next to the Grand Parade square (popularly called e GP/ jipi). Very inspiring to many, especially communists. There's nothing wrong with saying someone has been given life once, but the idealist or materialist interpretation of this will then depend on the understanding of the context within which this has been used. The fact that we, communists, normally say a person has not died but has taken a new form of existence is out of our own scientific understanding of human evolution and concrete processes involved. Cde Jeje a person, a concrete being, undergo each phase of his/her evolution only once and life is part of that process; you live once, you die once, you are born once etc. This has been proven and there is no controversial idealism in that.
