SACP Mpumalanga hosts a Provincial Financial Sector Coalition Campaign and a
March to Capitec Bank

Thursday, 14 November 2013.

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in Mpumalanga Province will host a
launch of the provincial Financial Sector Campaign Coalition (FSCC) with
various stakeholders, the taxi industry, Hawkers Association, Mpumalanga
Economic Growth Agency, alliance partners, the National African Chamber of
Commerce and Industry and more other sectors.

 

The launch follows a successful summit of the FSCC which was held from 21-23
April under the theme: 'Taking Stock of our gains, a decade of struggle for
the transformation and diversification of the financial sector' and a series
of consultative meetings led by the SACP in the province to report and
receive submissions on the outcomes of the summit. 

 

The launch will be followed by a march to CAPITEC Bank to hand over a
memorandum in pursuit of the financial sector transformation campaign.
