COSATU, ANC sing from same sheet ahead of May 7 poll eNCA, Johannesburg, 1 May 2014 POLOKWANE - COSATU has used Workers Day to reiterate its support for the ANC. The trade union federation told members that it is here to stay, and will stand behind the ruling party in the May 7 elections. Union president S'dumo Dlamini had a strong message for those who thought COSATU couldn't pull together during this crucial time. Despite recent in-fighting in COSATU, the federation says it stands for unity. "We can only shame our enemies, we can only shame those who were beginning to rejoice - shame those who say COSATU is falling apart. We are here to stay," said Dlamini. Meanwhile, President Jacob Zuma used the platform to speak on the plight of workers and its history, also reminding people of the current challenges being faced.
