We are under siege at Ceppwawu,as a shopsteward you are no longer free,or allowed to perform your duties and organize the workers,there's a guy called "Simon Mofokeng" who allegedly is the Secretary of the "Chemical Energy Paper Print and Wood Allied Workers Union",and he is very bossy and autocratic. This guy is killing the union and is very insecured because 4 out of the 7 regions has made it very clear that they don't approve or want him anymore,now he is even gone to the extent of writing letters to our companies,painting us very bad workers and comrades. He has taken it upon himself to send suspension letters to Cdes who does not accept Fish$Chips and KFC as a token of blind loyalty. Simon Mofokeng has been in power for 2 or 5 terms if I'm not mistaken,and he is trying all in his power to maintain the position of GS. We have even seen Mr. Mofokeng take the union to court,over democratic resolutions and actions taken by the workers of the movement. Cosatu has failed us shame. This Mofokeng guy instructed his attorneys to write letters to our companies requesting that we be dismissed,but he failed because we are employed by CEPPWAWU.Wits Region is the most sober region,including NW,Eastern Cape and Western Cape,these 4 regions does not stoop to the level of MOLES,and KFC eaters are going to do all we can to defend our union,and remove Simon Mofokeng.
