President Zuma Extends Condolences

President Jacob Zuma has extended his heartfelt condolences to Mrs Mavis
Chabane, wife of the Minister of Public Service and Administration Mr
Collins Chabane and also to the families of the two protectors of the
Minister who passed away earlier this morning.

Mr Chabane and his two protectors Sgt Lesiba Sekele and Sgt Lawrence
Lentsoane died on the N1 in Polokwane. Their car reportedly collided with a
truck. The details of the crash are still being gathered.

"We are still in deep shock. We extend our condolences to the Chabane family
and the families of Sgt Sekele and Sgt Lentsoane. This is a huge loss to the
country and a sad day indeed for all of us,'' the President said.
