2 April 2015 ANC gravely saddened by attacks in Kenya The African National Congress is appalled and gravely saddened by the attacks at the Garissa University College in Kenya today. The loss of life and attacks on defenceless citizens is indefensible and unjustifiable regardless of the circumstances. We send our deepest condolences to the families that are suffering at the hands of those who planned and committed these atrocious acts. We wish those injured a speedy recovery and a safe return for those who are being held hostage. We also offer our sincere sympathies to the government and the people of Kenya during this difficult time.
